Test Vault support
Setup and support for the Proxima Test Vault private beta.
Before you start
- Install Test Vault on the Jira site that contains your Zephyr Scale Cloud app.
- Create a revocable Zephyr Scale API token with access only to the projects you intend to capture.
- Open Jira administration, select Test Vault, save the token, and verify access.
- Choose one project or all visible projects, then run the first snapshot.
- Inspect the completeness status, source counts, boundaries, and archive hash before enabling daily capture.
What the app stores
The Zephyr token is encrypted in installation-scoped Atlassian Forge storage. Snapshot ZIPs and their indexes are stored in installation-scoped Forge storage for up to seven days. Test Vault does not operate a separate Proxima customer-data backend.
Customer controls
- Disable daily capture without deleting existing evidence.
- Disconnect Zephyr to delete the stored token and disable daily capture.
- Delete retained evidence to remove ZIP archives and their indexes without changing Zephyr source data.
Supported beta surface
The beta captures accessible projects, configurations, test cases, versions, scripts, steps, links, folders, plans, cycles, executions, execution-step results, attachment metadata, and attachment bytes up to 25 MiB each. It does not claim to capture history or archived records that SmartBear does not expose through supported Cloud APIs, and it does not provide automated restore.
Request support
Email contact@proximatechinc.com. Include the Jira site URL, Zephyr region, project key, snapshot time, archive name, and the visible error or boundary message.
Never send a Zephyr API token, password, downloaded archive, or other secret by email.
Private-beta support is provided during US Eastern business hours. We aim to acknowledge support requests within two business days; this is a target, not a contractual service-level agreement.
Seven-day retention
Test Vault retains up to seven days of snapshot evidence in Forge storage. Download any archive you need to keep longer and protect it according to your organization's data-handling requirements.
